I personally think this is the a good case beaucse it's my first case and I don't really know much about cases. Except they protect and store my DS nicely. The good part about this case is that is has a lot of room for storage. I can feel safe if my ds does fall because I trust the material of this case. I can fit my DS which has a hard plastic casing on it. My DS does not feel bulky even though it has a case on it. I think the hand strap is a cool addition to it.
Cons:
I really don't like how I recieved mine because the middle shiny part was not perfectly place. It was a bit misplaced and I didn't really appreciated it. I don't like the smell of the rubber on it but, if you spary something smelly on it. It could make it better like I did.
Other Thoughts:
I don't really have any other thoughts about this case because I seem to think this case is useful as it is my first case.
Bottomline:
Bottomline is I recommend this case if you are trying to decide on this case or another. Just get this one as it's good and easy to use.

"The upper and lower halves of the case have a material (possibly cardboard) stiched in that helps the case keep its form and provide adequete protection in normal situations. Not as much protection as a hard case or nerf case but more than you may believe.
So many of the hard shell cases are built to form fit the DS Lite, I'm happy to discover I can keep the clear case (SKU 7747) on my DS Lite with this one.

1) Game must already be in Slot-1
2) Game must not rely on the use of the shoulder buttons as you cannot get to them. Plus, case may be compressing them; difficult to verify.
3) Stylus must be already removed.
4) Part of the upper portion of the touch screen will be covered by the strap.
Care must be taken when using the zipper as they seem fragile.
Case includes a flimsy, cheap wrist band that can be attached to the DS Lite or the case. I would have preferred the carabiner included with the other case model made by this company.

"Take two decks of standard playing cards and place them side by side, those are 'roughly' the length by width dimensions of this case. Using my clear case, my DS Lite is snug enough, I will probably cut the lower half strap for easy insertion and removal. Looking at the user pictures, it's amazing how much can be stuffed into this case.
