This router has exactly the same specifications as TP-LINK WR703n except for the casing, and this has already been confirmed in this thread http://right.com.cn/forum/thread-54451-1-1.html.Openwrt firmware for 703N can be flashed onto it without much hazzle. With Openwrt running on it, you will be able to do many things that is only possible on much more expensive routers. For example, you can connect it to your main router wirelessly to boost the signal coverage so that you can get robust wireless signal even if you are far away from the main router. You can also attach to it a variety of peripheral devices including printer, hard disk, USB flash drive, webcam. Thus, all members of your LAN network can access these devices. For home use, it is a great thing to have your hard disk attached to it, which allows you to stream music, HD movies from the storage media attached to the router at high speed. Another great feature of Openwrt is you can use it to download large files through P2P software like Transmission, Amule, and so on.
